Raines calls time on AFL career

The AFL career of Andrew Raines has come to an end, with the Gold Coast veteran announcing his retirement.

The 29-year-old, who spent time at Richmond and Brisbane before joining the Suns 12 months ago, walks away after 129 games in the AFL since debuting for the Tigers in 2004.

Raines only managed six AFL matches in his one season with the Suns due to injury..
