Raynuha Sinnathamby shares her wisdom with the Coast’s Young Professionals

Over 100 of the Gold Coast’s young professionals kick-started their long-weekend by attending YP Gold Coast’s cocktail event at Bam Bam Bakehouse on Thursday.

While the cocktails were poured and canapes consumed, the up and comers gained insights into industry and leadership thanks to guest speaker Raynuha Sinnathamby – the Managing Director of Springfield Land Corporation.

A solicitor by trade, Raynuha joined Springfield Land Corporation in 1998. She has been closely involved in the building of the Greater Springfield City, which is Australia’s largest master planned community.

After sharing her experiences, Ms Sinnathamby discussed why she believes business in Australia is more important now than ever before. “There is so much to be achieved as a country that we can not rely on the government to achieve it all,” she said. “Small businesses and large businesses have already made a tremendous difference to how this nation has been built, and I think business will be relied on even more as we progress forward.”

Keeping with the business theme of the evening, the City of Gold Coast’s Ivanka Kovac also launched the City of Gold Coast’s Competitive Business Program at the event. The program’s aim is to help local businesses increase their capacity and expand their operations.
