Real estate agent robbed at gunpoint at open house

A WOMAN who turned a gun on a real estate agent at an open house inspection on the Gold Coast and stole his car on Saturday remains on the run.

The real estate agent was hosting an open house inspection on Monaco Street in Surfers Paradise when he was confronted by a woman armed with a handgun inside the unit.

It’s understood the woman, wearing a blue cardigan and purple skirt, posed as a potential buyer, before she pointed the gun at the agent and demanded his keys and phone.

The man complied and the woman got away in the agent’s blue 2011 Suzuki with Queensland registration 580TDR around 11.15am.

She is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, aged around 30 years old with a solid build and tribal tattoo on one of her thighs.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
