Record crowds expected to flood Mudgeeraba Show

MAYOR Tom Tate is confident the Mudgeeraba Show will see a record number of 40,000 people walk through its gates this weekend.

The Mayor attended the show on Saturday afternoon and is now calling on all Gold Coast residents to check it out today.

He says the Show is the best yet with rides, pig races and great food.

“The shows going well, everyone’s smiling. When you get a chance, get on out here, its a lot of fun. Bring the whole family with you,” he said.

There’s plenty on offer for young and old at this years show, with everything from the usual rides and showbags to chainsaw racing and a ute muster.

To make things easier for the family, the show society is providing free shuttles to the show as well.

They’re departing from Firth Park, Hinterland Heritage Museum and the Robina train station every half hour and will take you straight to the front gates.
