A YOUNG woman is begging Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to allow her to come to Australia for an abortion after she was raped on Nauru.
The 23-year-old Somali woman is 11 weeks pregnant as a result of rape on the island and is pleading to be able to come to Australia to have an abortion.
Lawyers acting on behalf of the woman wrote to Mr Turnbull and Immigration Minister Peter Dutton demanding an answer by 5pm Tuesday, however have not yet heard back.
