Remains found in croc in far north Qld
It’s believed the crocodile responsible for the death of swimmer Cindy Waldron has been found.
The New Zealand-born tourist disappeared at Thornton Beach in the Daintree National Park on Sunday while swimming with her friend Leeann Mitchell.
An estuarine crocodile was removed from Cooper Creek, near Thornton Beach, on Friday and put down before being examined. Police believe remains found inside the 4.3 metre reptile belong to Ms Waldron.
