Report into NSW police bugging scandal to be released

Nick Kaldas launched legal action earlier this month to block the release of the NSW Ombudsman’s report on its Operation Prospect investigation, which took surveillance of police officers between 1999 and 2001.

NSW Supreme Court justice Peter Garling today found the balance of convenience was in favour of the report being published, meaning it could be released within hours.
