There’ll be celebrations from Gold Coast Titans fans with the club announcing Ash Taylor will remain on the Coast until at least 2021.
“I love it here at the Titans, and although it took a while to sort out the terms of the new deal, I never really considered going anywhere else,” Taylor said.

“I’m really pleased with the appointment of Garth as I’ve had some personal involvement with him in the past.
“He’s a great communicator and he has big plans for the future of the club, so I’m keen to get stuck in and help make 2018 a success.”

Reports have emerged Ash Taylor is sticking with the Titans, committing to the club until 2021.
Newscorp and Fairfax are both reporting the halfback will be paid $3 million over the next three seasons, making him one of highest paid players in the competition.
The Titans beat Queensland rivals Brisbane for the young talent’s services and the club is anticipated to hold a news conference today, announcing the signing.
The Titans have looked to settle after a tumultuous 2017 season, with the appointment of new coach Garth Brennan last week.
Brennan is understood to have played a major role in the retention of Taylor.
The coach has a close relationship with Tayor, mentoring the halfback for the last 18 months.
There’s expected to be a raft of new announcements for the Gold Coast, with the club likely to announce their new owners within the next.
