UPDATE @ 11.45am: Carrie Fisher’s mother and Hollywood actress Debbie Reynolds has died.
The 84-year-old was rushed to hospital after suffering a suspected stroke, just one day after her daughter, Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher, passed away after suffering a heart attack at age 60.
The American entertainer shot to fame back in 1952 at age 19, after scoring the leading role as Katy Selden in Singin in the Rain.

EARLIER @ 8.00am: There are reports Carrie Fisher’s mother has been rushed to hospital in Beverly Hills.
Local media say the 84-year-old is believed to have suffered a possible stroke.
It comes just a day after her daughter, Star Wars Star Carrie Fisher, passed away after suffering a heart attack at age 60.
