A number of campers have rejoiced in a much-needed food delivery, after they were left stranded by the wild weather.
The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter was deployed to drop off supplies to 11 stranded campers, stuck in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
It comes after wild weather forced a number of hinterland roads to close due to debris and fallen rocks.

While clean up efforts are already in full swing, it’s understood a number of people were left stranded for a short time.
Surf Life Saving Queensland posted the following footage, as they landed amongst a group of very hungry campers.
