UPDATE @ 4.30PM | A man has been winched to safety after falling 10 metres down a cliff in Springbrook National Park.
The man in his 30s slipped while walking along a track at Purling Brook Falls.
Paramedics had trouble reaching the man, who had fallen onto rocks.

They eventually got access to him but had to move the man so that he could be winched out.
He has since been airlifted to hospital in Brisbane with serious leg injuries.
EARLIER @ 3.00PM |Paramedics are attempting to rescue a person who has fallen down a cliff in the Springbrook National Park.
A rescue helicopter has also been called in to assist.
Emergency services were called around 2pm after reports a person had slipped from a walking track at Purling Brook Falls.
It’s understood they’ve landed on rocks below but it’s not clear exactly how far they’ve fallen.
Rescue teams are still unable to reach the patient and their condition is not known.
Emergency services are currently trying to work out a plan to access to the person.
