Forbes magazine has released its annual ranking of the highest-earning entertainers in the world, and you may be surprised by the results.
Taking out the number one spot this year is rapper and music producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who brought in $130 million from June 1, 2016, to June 1, 2017.
According to Forbes, Diddy’s “Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, his stake in Ciroc vodka and the $70 million sale of one-third of his Sean John clothing line” all contributed to his earnings.

Beyonce came in 2nd this year, earning $105 million thanks to her Formation World Tour and Lemonade release.
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling was third on the list, with $95 million, while Rapper Drake ($94 million) and Portuguese soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo ($93 million) round out the top five.
Last year’s top earner Taylor Swift plummeted to number 49, pulling in $44 million, down from $170 million.
