REVEALED: More people die from ‘selfies’ than shark attacks

You may be more afraid of the terrifying deep sea creatures, but in reality, selfies have been one of the biggest killers in 2015.

So far, 12 people have died trying to take the perfect selfie, while in comparison, only eight people have died as a result of shark attacks.

The telegraph reported that most selfie-related deaths have been due to falling, closely followed by people being hit by cars whilst trying to snap the perfect selfie.

It may sound like a joke, but the selfie craze has gotten so out of hand in Russia, that the country has been forced to issue a ‘how not to die while taking selfies’ guide.
