The northern Gold Coast seems to be booming, with three coast suburbs revealed as having the largest population increases in Queensland.
According to the latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Gold Coast suburb of Pimpama has seen the largest increase in population out of all of Queensland.
The statistics show almost 3000 people moved to Pimpama between June 2016 and June 2017.

The suburb was also the fastest growing in the state.
Large growth also occurred in Coomera, with the suburb coming in at fourth on the list, whilst Upper Coomera was ranked eighth.
