The foster father of Logan schoolgirl Tiahleigh Palmer will plead guilty to murdering the 12-year-old, it has been revealed.
Lawyers for Rick Thorburn told the Brisbane Supreme Court on Monday that Thorburn intends to plead guilty.
He was initially ordered to stand trial for the schoolgirl’s murder in July last year, however will now await to be sentenced on May 25.

Rick Thorburn was arrested and charged in September 2016, almost a year after Tiahleigh’s body was found on the banks of the Pimpama River in November 2015.
