RISING star Storm Sanders will take her place in Australia’s Fed Cup team after a stunning summer campaign.
The 19 year old will join the Gold Coast’s Samantha Stosur, Casey Dellacqua and fellow youngster Ashleigh Barty in the team to face Russia in a World Group first-round encounter in Hobart next month.
Sanders burst to prominence with a stunning straight-sets victory over China’s world No.39 Peng Shuai at the Hobart International.

She then pushed 2013 Wimbledon semi-finalist Kirsten Flipkens, the world No.19, to a third-set tiebreaker in the second round.
Sanders also impressed at the Australian Open, despite losing the opening round to Italian Camila Giorgiat.
The showdown with Russia will take place on February 8-9.
