EVEN in death, Joan Rivers continues to embody all things Hollywood.
Yesterday, a group of stars gathered at New York’s Temple Emanu-El to remember Rivers, who died on Thursday, aged 81.
Among those present was Kathy Griffin, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Whoopie Goldberg.

Several blocks of the city were barricaded off as crowds of fans and media gathered across the street.
Before her death, Rivers had written a book which in its contents outlined the “Hollywood all the way” style funeral she desired.
Rivers also asked for “Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents” and “a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyonce’s”.
Rivers was hospitalised on August 28 after she went into cardiac arrest during a routine procedure.
Her cause of death is being investigated.
