IF YOU regularly find yourself turning up the radio to sing along to the sexy sounds of Rob Thomas and Matchbox Twenty, this is an announcement you don’t want to miss.
The multi-award-winning singer-songwriter, whose mega solo hit Smooth is celebrating 20 years this year (yep, now we all feel old), has confirmed tour dates for Australia following the launch of his brand-new album Chip Tooth Smile.
It will be the tenth time Thomas has graced our shores, with the November tour to take in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, as well as include three winery shows presented by A Day On The Green.

The closest he’ll get to the Gold Coast will be with a performance on November 17 at Sirromet Wines at Mt Cotton.
Promoters are promising a dynamic show of “huge hits and favourites plucked from Thomas’s 30+ year career”, including Lonely No More and This Is How A Heart Breaks, as well as Matchbox Twenty classics Push, 3AM and Bent, along with new tracks lifted from the latest album.
Tickets for all shows will go on sale at 12PM Wednesday, May 8, via Ticket Master.
