The immersive world of virtual reality is sweeping the globe and shoppers at Robina Town Centre will be among the first to experience it in real time when the dinosaurs roar into town for the September school holidays.
In an Australian first, Robina Town Centre will turn the clock back by millions of years as it transforms into a scene from the Jurassic period to bring the ancient world of dinosaurs back to life in an exhilarating experience.
From Saturday, 17 September until Sunday, 2 October 2016, Robina Town Centre will hatch its biggest school holiday program yet, with a dino-mite line up of school holiday entertainment.
Stepping into a 3D zone with virtual reality headsets and ground shaking movement, shoppers will be taken one an immersive and heart pounding journey as they come face-to-face with some of the most menacing and magnificent prehistoric creatures to have ever walked the earth.
Dino-enthusiasts will be able to interact with the dinosaurs in real-time, from feeding a Brontosaurus to facing off with a terrifying Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Centre Manager of Robina Town Centre, Mr Glen McAnulty, commented on the impending dinosaur discovery experience.
“We are thrilled to unveil our newest in-centre school holiday activation this month as we deliver another Australian first for our customers,” Mr McAnulty said.
“As a Centre we are firmly focused on providing local families with unique and never-be-seen-before experiences that can be enjoyed by all ages, and our Real-A-Saurus activation is testament to this. We look forward to welcoming shoppers to be a part of this free, interactive experience.”
