UPDATE | Paramedics reach injured rockclimbers in Boonah
UPDATE 5:02PM | Paramedics have finally reached two rockclimbers who were injured after falling during a climb in Boonah.
It has been confirmed that a man in his 20’s has a broken foot, he has lost quite a bit of blood.
A second climber broke their arm and has a gash on their leg.
Update: #Boonah, QAS are assessing 2 patients, male 20s with a fractured foot & a second patient with a laceration to leg and fractured arm.

EARLIER 4:26PM | Two rockclimbers have reportedly lost their grip and fallen in Boonah on Thursday afternoon.
The Queensland Ambulance service confirmed a man in his 20’s fell from rocks off Mount French Road at 3.40pm.

He has told paramedics, from a distance, that he has pain in his right arm and there is a lot of blood coming from his foot.
The QAS also told us there could a second patient, but that is yet to be confirmed.

One team of emergency services crews is at the top of where they were climbing, the other is waiting down below.
The rescue chopper has also been called in, so too has the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service’s Vertical Rescue Unit.
