THE Rolling Stones have just announced the cancellation of Saturday’s planned concert in Victoria.
Frontier Touring has released a statement confirming the performance at Hanging Rock will not go ahead after front man Mick Jagger developed a throat infection.
The band was also supposed to entertain crowds in Sydney next week and Brisbane the week after to miss a clash with the G20 Summit.

The statement from Frontier Touring reads Mick “is under strict doctor’s orders to rest his vocal chords for the next few days in order to recuperate for the remainder of the tour.
“This means the scheduled show at Hanging Rock near Melbourne on Saturday Nov 8th is unfortunately cancelled.”
The Stones were also forced to call off their tour of Perth back in March after Mick’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott was found dead in New York.
Mick and the designer had been dating since 2001.
