Royal Tour Day 2 | The moment that is melting hearts
THE ROYAL couple landed in Dubbo on Wednesday morning and in no time had won over everyone they met, especially a young schoolboy.
Five-year-old Luke Vincent was standing alongside his schoolmates from Buninyong Public School when Prince Harry and his wife Meghan arrived in the central NSW town.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are spending the day bringing a much-needed morale boost to the drought-ravaged community.
With a population of 39,000, nearly everyone has turned out to greet the newlyweds at a barbecue and concert to be held in their honour later today.

Luke has been one of the first to interact with the Prince and his pregnant wife, melting hearts with his tactile response (see video below).
The little boy, who is said to be “a big fan of Santa”, rubbed Prince Harry’s beard, holding his chin as the royal patiently crouched down and chatted with his new little mate.
When Meghan walked over, she also got down to Luke’s level as he gave her a bunch of flowers.

She asked for a hug, and was not disappointed, as Luke embraced the Princess before also cuddling Harry and patting his hair.
