THE RSPCA have today announced they will slash adoption prices by 25 per cent across Queensland this weekend.
Shelters are at full capacity, with more than 1000 animals currently in care throughout the state.
The promotion includes all animal care and adoption centres, including Pet Barn adoption centres and World for Pets adoptions.

There will also be some specials with discounts of up to 75 per cent on offer.
“To be honest things are getting a bit desperate and we need to re-home as many animals as possible and generate some funds. Hopefully this promotion will do both,” said RSPCA Qld spokesperson Michael Beatty.
“All the Care Centres will be getting into the spirit of the occasion with sausage sizzles, bake sales and staff and volunteers have been encouraged to wear red.
“We want it to be a fun weekend where you can find a bargain and hopefully a loving new family member as well.”
