Russian president arrives in Australia for G20
RUSSIAN president Vladimir Putin has arrived in Australia ahead of this weekend’s international G20 summit.
The controversial president and his delegation touched down at Brisbane International Airport at 9.05pm on Friday night.
He was briefly greeted by Stuart Robert MP and the Queensland Governor before being whisked away in a massive presidential motorcade of 21 vehicles to the Hilton where a crowd of up to 200 people have gathered outside.
The German delegation touched down shortly after Russia, followed by the Chinese whom were placed into a holding pattern above the city.
