Safety audits continue at Dreamworld

Safety reviews are continuing at Dreamworld, after the theme park announced on Wednesday it would permanently decommission the fatal Thunder River Rapids ride.

Dreamworld chief executive Craig Davidson said they don’t intend to rush the reopening, with a full review of the park’s attractions to be undertaken first.

The park is estimated to be losing $300,000 per day while it remains closed, according to The Australian Financial Review.
