Sally sparkles with excitement at launch for Jewel Residences’ experience centre

Jewel Residences sure know how to put on a sparkly soiree, and last night night was no exception.

Over 100 VIPs joined Jewel ambassador Sally Fitzgibbons and the Wanda Ridong team for the launch of the site’s new experience centre.

Located directly next to the construction site on Old Burleigh Road in Surfers Paradise, the experience centre gives potential buyers the chance to use virtual reality to explore all aspects of the three-tower development.

Fitzgibbons, who bought a two-bedroom apartment in the development earlier this year, told myGC the experience centre has left her excited about moving into her new home.

“It’s like I am teleporting myself into the space of my new apartment. It’s an amazing location and a really cool project,” she said. “I can not wait to open my eyes in the morning and scan what the waves are doing outside and pick my own little sandbank. The points on the Gold Coast are really crowded at times so I want to find my own little secret bank – but don’t tell anyone!”

Fitzgibbons said she was thrilled to be at the launch of the centre, and to see how construction is progressing. “It’s exciting to be working hand-in-hand with the Jewel team. As we reach these milestones together it’s a proud moment for everyone involved,” she said.

“I also love being up on the Coast – I have been coming here for years and years. There are a lot of good friends here tonight and a lot of synergies with what we love about this Gold Coast stretch and what we love about Australian beach culture.”

Jewel’s ‎Director Sales & Marketing Lucas Wilson told myGC he was blown away by how quickly Fitzgibbons bought into the project. “After meeting Sally at a World Surf League Gala, we started talking about how she could be involved with the project. Mid-way through our conversation she stopped me and said she wanted to buy one of the apartments!” he said.

“She really busts the stereotype of who people thought would be a buyer in the Jewel. Here is somebody who is 25-years-old, an entrepreneur and a pro surfer, and she loves the Jewel project.”
