Our Aussie Matildas are through to the round of 16, after defeating Jamaica at the World Cup this morning.
The Australian side will play against Norway next, after thrashing Jamaica 4-1.
Captain Sam Kerr scored all four of the team’s goals, the first Australian – male or female – to score a hat-trick at the World Cup.

After a 2-0 lead in the break, the Matildas were looking comfortable.
Though Jamaica were in it with a point in the first 20 minutes of the second, before Kerr came back in the 69th minute with a tap in, then again in the 83rd for the fourth.
The massive four-point haul puts the Aussies in second place, taking them to the Allianz Riviera on Sunday.
Kerr told SBS everyone worked together to get the win.
