Samantha Stosur has put up with two days of rain delays to finally win her game against Simona Halep at the French Open.
The Gold Coaster did have to deal with another rain delay during the match but she went on to beat the Romanian 7-6 (7-0) 6-3 to enter her first grand slam quarter final in four years.
Stosur was trailing Halep 5-3 before the rain set in. French Open organisers had to suspend an entire day of play for the first time in 16 years.
