School girl hospitalised after nearly drowning at Gold Coast theme park

Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a near drowning at a theme park in Coomera yesterday afternoon.

Paramedics arrived to an address on Dreamworld Parkway around 3.45pm, when they were redirected to one of the theme parks.

A school-aged girl was conscious and breathing when paramedics arrived, after being pulled from a pool.


It’s understood CPR was performed on her before paramedics arrived.

She was treated briefly at the scene before being rushed to hospital with critical care paramedics on board.

She’s understood to be in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
