A stabbing outside a Gold Coast school yesterday is believed to have have been sparked by a dispute on social media.
Two teenagers have been charged after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the stomach around 300 metres from Miami State High School yesterday afternoon.

It’s understood the boy was walking down Hillcrest Parade with a friend when they were approached by the two alleged attackers.
It’s further alleged the two attackers got into a verbal altercation with the victim before a knife was produced and he was stabbed once in the abdomen.
The Courier-Mail reports friends of the teens have said the stabbing was the result of an escalating feud on Facebook.
People in the street ran to the boy’s aid before calling paramedics. The 15-year-old was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police have since charged a 15-year-old boy from Mermaid Waters with grievous bodily harm and armed robbery and another 15-year-old boy from Miami with armed robbery.
Both will be dealt under the Youth Justice Act.
