The Prime Minister has continued his popularity streak, with the latest Newspoll again returning favourable results.
Scott Morrison’s achieved record high approval ratings at 66 percent, with his disapproval level falling to 29 percent.
He’s also strengthened his position as preferred Prime Minister, retaining 56 percent support against 26 percent for Anthony Albanese who dropped three points.

The poll – conducted by The Australian – shows the Coalition has maintained its two-party-preferred lead over Labor.
Popular support for the Coalition dropped a point to 42 per cent, while Labor’s primary vote also dropped a point to 34 per cent.
It means the Coalition keeps an unchanged lead of 51-49 based on preferences.
