Scott Morrison’s approval ratings plummet in latest newspoll
Scott Morrison’s approval ratings have plummeted into negative territory for the first time since becoming Prime Minister, according to the latest Newspoll.
The poll, published by The Australian on Sunday night, shows 44 per cent of voters are dissatisfied with the Liberal Leader’s performance, whilst just 41 per cent are satisfied.
Despite the drop in approval, Mr Morrison is still Australia’s preferred Prime Minister, leading Opposition Leader Bill Shorten 43 per cent to 35.
The poll also revealed Labor has continued its lead over the Coalition, 54-46 in two-party preferred terms.
