Police have arrested a former Scout leader with the indecent assault of several teenage boys between the mid 1970s and early 1980s.
Detectives from Green Valley Local Area Command created Strike Force Konda earlier this year after a 53-year-old man came forward with allegations of sexual abuse earlier this year.
The man told police about a number of acts of indecency which allegedly commenced when he was a member of a Scout group in Sydney’s south west in 1975.

The acts of indecency allegedly continued until 1982.
Following further investigations, several other men also came forward with allegations of alleged sexual abuse which occurred between 1972 and 1976, who were also members of the same Scout group.
The investigation culminated this morning, Thursday 26 November 2015, with the arrest of a 67-year-old man at an address in south western Sydney.
Following his arrest, the man was taken to Liverpool Hospital for observation after becoming unwell; he remains there under police guard.
Police are currently executing a search warrant at an address in south western Sydney.
It’s believed the man ceased his involvement with Scouts in 1976.
Police are appealing for anyone with further information about these matters to contact Green Valley Detectives on (02) 9607 1799 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
