SE Qld officer stood down after she was allegedly caught drink-driving
A female senior constable from the South Eastern Region has been stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service.
The 38-year-old officer is “subject of an investigation regarding driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor whilst off duty,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
The officer was served a Notice to Appear and is due to face Southport Magistrates Court on 5 September.
Police said the woman has been tasked to perform non-operational duties.
