The search for a missing swimmer, swept off rocks at Bondi Beach, will get back underway on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the southern end of the popular tourist beach at around 2.30pm on Monday after reports of a man in distress in the water.
Police and lifeguards searched for the man but he could not be found, prompting a much larger search involving Marine Area Command, Police Rescue, PolAir and the Westpac helicopter.
