UPDATE @ 9.00AM | The body of a kayaker, who went missing in waters off Moreton Bay, has been found.
Numerous search crews had been scouring waters overnight for the 21-year-old Brisbane man after he become separated from his groups of mates while paddling from Peel Island to North Stradbroke Island yesterday afternoon.
“The search, which continued throughout the night, located the man at 7.15am this morning,” Queensland Police said in a statement.

“There are no suspicious circumstances and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.”
EARLIER @ 6.30AM | A major search is continuing this morning, after a kayaker disappeared off Moreton Bay.
A group of around seven friends were paddling to North Stradbroke Island around 5.00pm yesterday afternoon.
But the 21-year-old man became separated from the group during the journey.
Emergency services are out scouring the waters, but due to the rain overnight, crews are yet to conduct an air search.
As many as 14 police and volunteer vessels are out again this morning, still desperately searching.
