The 50-year-old man failed to return to his campsite at Pretty Beach, north of Bateman’s Bay, after setting off for a 10km solo walk nearby Durras Mountain track on Sunday.

He was reported missing around 6:40pm on Sunday, with search crews scaling the area for several hours.

Up to 50 people have set out again this morning, with concerns for his welfare as he has limited provisions.
