Search for missing ultralight in far northern NSW
The search for an ultralight aircraft that took off from Murwillumbah in northern NSW will today enter its second day.
A member of the public saw the aircraft in difficulties near Limpinwood shortly before 11am yesterday.
The pilot and sole occupant of the single engine aircraft is a 72-year-old man.
Police have concentrated their search on an area of bushland between Tyalgum and Chilligham.
Officers searched in vehicles, on foot and with the assistance of aircraft.
