There are grave fears for dozens of people, after an Indonesian plane went missing shortly after taking off from Jakarta.
The Boeing 737-500 was on its way to the city of Pontianak, but is understood to have dropped off the radar within just minutes from getting off the ground.
It was seen dropping 10,000 feet within a minute before the flight path ended over the ocean.

A search operation is now underway, with reports debris has pulled from the Java Sea.
Authorities are yet to confirm the fate of the aircraft, which was carrying 50 passengers and 12 crew.
