A search will resume on Monday morning for two bushwalkers lost in the Royal National Park, south of Sydney.
A 50-year-old woman and 47-year-old man dialled Triple Zero after losing their way late on Sunday afternoon.
The pair left a trail near the Karloo Pools walking track and couldn’t find their way back.

Police managed to speak to the man and woman but due to terrain and fading light they couldn’t find them.
The couple does have warm clothing, two mobile phones, a torch and whistle as well as a supply of water. They aren’t injured and have lit a fire to keep warm.
Police told them to stay put.
