Lottery officials are desperately searching for a lucky winner who is blissfully unaware they won $1 million in the Monday Lotto.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Belinda McDougall said the new millionaire purchased their division one winning entry from Tweed City News in the northern New South Wales area of Tweed Heads South. “We’re eager to hear from our newest millionaire so anyone who purchased an unregistered Monday Lotto ticket in Tweed Heads South should check it immediately because they could be a new millionaire,” Ms McDougall said.
“As the ticket was purchased in an area that is popular with tourists, it’s possible the mystery winner could be a holidaymaker. Regardless, if the winner is a local or a tourist, winning $1 million means they could be taking an extended holiday. You may not think it’s possible that you could be the mystery millionaire we’re searching for but if you had an unregistered entry in last night’s draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!

“We’re urging all Monday Lotto players to check their ticket as soon as possible and if you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket to contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
The winning numbers in Monday Lotto draw 3566 on Monday 20 June 2016 were 24, 45, 29, 14, 39 and 35 with the supplementary numbers of 30 and 16.
The division one winning entry was purchased at Tweed City News, Shop 235 in Tweed City Shopping Centre, 54 Minjungbal Drive in Tweed Heads South. This is the second big win so far this year for the outlet which sold a $2 million division one winning entry in Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw in January.
