Search underway after firearms stolen during NSW break-in

Police are investigating after a number of firearms were stolen during a break-in at Dubbo yesterday.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 7am and 11pm on Sunday.

“Between 7am and 11pm yesterday, the premises on Birch Avenue, Dubbo owned by a 53-year-old man, was broken into,” NSW police said in a statement.


Three firearms, including a.308 rifle, and two .22 calibre rifles were stolen from a locked safe.
