UPDATE: A group of bushwalkers lost in Lamington Naitonal Park in the Gold Coast hinterland have been found.
The trio began hiking through the Naitonal Park on Sunday morning, however phoned emergency services using the SOS feature on their phones, when they were unable to make it back.
The group are currently with paramedics, SES and Queensland police on their way back to O’Reillys.

Despite spending the night in bushland, they are believed to be in good spirits with no injuries reported.
EARLIER: A search is underway for a group of bushwalkers who have become lost in a Gold Coast national park.

It’s believed police and SES crews have a good idea of where the group are.
Temperatures soared past 30 degrees on the Gold Coast yesterday and have already reached 27 degrees this morning.
