Searches continue for two different swimmers in NSW

A search is set to resume this morning for a missing swimmer who was swept away near Wagga Wagga.

The 42-year-old Victorian man got into trouble just after 3pm yesterday while swimming in the Murrumbidgee River at Wagga Wagga.

Searches were called off around 8pm last night, due to poor visibility.

Meanwhile,

A search is expected to resume for the second day, for a teenager feared drowned after going missing at a Sydney beach yesterday.

Tui Gallaher vanished after getting in trouble while swimming with his cousin at Maroubra Beach after 8pm on Tuesday.

His family watched on as a search aided by jetskis, boats and rescue helicopter searched for the teen until around sunset Tuesday and continued all through Wednesday.
