A second man charged over the alleged abduction of a schoolboy on the Gold Coast earlier this month is due to face court today.
Sunny Zhang was extradited from New South Wales on Thursday, after handing himself into Sydney Police.
It’s alleged the 20-year-old and his father snatched the 12-year-old boy whilst he made his way home from school on Friday May 11, sparking an amber alert.

The youngster was then driven interstate, where he was found in the northern NSW town of Grafton shortly after midday on Saturday, May 12.
Zhang junior was charged with two counts of extortion and one count each of torture, deprivation of liberty, assault occasioning bodily harm and kidnapping for ransom.
He is expected to face Southport Magistrates Court today.
His father Zheng Jie Zhang, 53, remains in custody after being charged with six offences, including kidnapping for ransom.
