UPDATE @ December 6: A SECOND man has been charged after a nurse was allegedly threatened at gunpoint and abducted from outside a hospital in Benowa last Friday.
Around 3.30am, a 25-year-old male nurse was standing outside Pindara Private hospital when he was confronted by a number of men wearing balaclavas and armed with knives and a handgun.
He was allegedly forced into the boot of his own vehicle and driven to an ATM at Parklands Drive in Parkwood where he was made to withdraw about $500.

He was then stuffed back into the boot of his car and driven away by his abductors who dumped the vehicle in Ashmore before fleeing in another stolen car, which crashed not far down the road.
The nurse was rescued from the boot of the car by neighbours and taken to hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries and shock.
An 18-year-old Currumbin Waters man is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of armed robbery, and one count each of torture and deprivation of liberty.
He is also charged with two counts of possession of dangerous drug and one count of break and enter premises.
It comes after a 17-year-old Ashmore man was charged over the terrifying incident on Monday.
