SECURITY will be amped up at NSW police stations following the fatal shooting outside Parramatta police headquarters earlier this month.
The states police union is pushing for the multi-million dollar upgrades, which will include perimeter fencing, fortified security screens, remote-door access and CCTV.
The increased security protection is due to be implemented within months.

It comes after police worker Curtis Cheng was shot dead by a teenage extremist on October 2.
