Security guard charged with manslaughter of elderly hospital patient
A hospital security guard has been charged with the manslaughter of an elderly patient.
The 50-year-old appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today charged over the death of the 81-year-old.
Police say the hospital guard was charged following ongoing investigations into an incident at the Prince Charles Hospital on April 30.
Two weeks after the altercation, the elderly man passed away at the Royal Brisbane and Woman’s Hospital.
