Security Guard shot in Brisbane
A Security Guard shot while on duty in Brisbane early on Friday, is expected to make a full recovery.
The man was hit in the leg while performing a static patrol of a business on South Pine Road at Everton Park just after 1:00am.
It’s then alleged that a man walked up to him, threatened him with a gun and demanded the keys to his car.
The security officer refused and was shot in the right ankle before the shooter ran off.
Police arrested a man in his twenties a short time later and he is being questioned.
The security guard is in the Royal Brisbane Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
