Sedan wrapped around tree in shocking crash
A YOUNG woman is lucky to be alive after wrapping her car around a tree in Adelaide’s north.
The 23-year-old lost control of her Ford sedan on Yorktown Road at Elizabeth Downs just before 6.30am on Sunday.
The sedan slid out, with the passenger side of the vehicle slamming side-on into a tree in the centre median.
Police said it was a heavy collision, with the significant impact driving the tree halfway through the car.
